I just love it when photos look like paintings. I'm having trouble getting photos to look the same in photoshop as when posted on blogger. I had heard that using Flickr solved this problem, but no luck for me. Any suggestions on this long, seemingly never ending battle for true color with blogger??

Flickr is the best quality that I've found. It'll make you images smaller if they were huge to begin with but the quality is still good. All the pictures on my blog that I took myself are on Flickr. I didn't like the quality that blogger does, either.
before uploading to flickr, I convert to sRGB, then up the saturation between 5-12 depending on the picture and they generally look alright...though all this probably warrants a castillo/smith response...
